1. DEFINITIONS

In this privacy notice;
Personal Data: means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person,
Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK): means Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data, published in the Official Gazette and entered into force on April 7, 2016,
Data Processor: means the natural or legal person who processes personal data on behalf of the Data Controller based on the authority granted by it,
Data Controller: means the natural or legal person who determines the purposes and means of processing personal data and is responsible for establishing and managing the data recording system.

As www.stepy.com.tr, acting as the Data Controller under Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK), within the framework of our notification obligation under the KVKK, we would like to inform you about the methods and legal grounds for collecting your personal data, our methods and policy for protecting your personal data, examples of personal data processed, the identity of the data controller, the purposes of processing personal data, the transfer of your personal data to third parties and/or abroad, and the rights granted to you under the KVKK.

3. PURPOSES OF PROCESSING YOUR PERSONAL DATA

Your Personal Data may be processed under KVKK Article 5.2 and Article 6.3 without your explicit consent, for purposes such as fulfilling our legal obligations, the establishment or performance of a contract, the establishment, exercise or protection of a right, and the protection of our legitimate interests without harming your fundamental rights and freedoms, and with respect to personal data you have made public. Your personal data will be processed based on your explicit consent under KVKK Article 5.1 and Article 6.2, within the purposes specified in our Privacy Policy on our website. In addition, your Personal Data will be processed based on your explicit consent for the planning and execution of activities necessary to customize and present recommendations to you according to your preferences, usage habits and needs.

4. TRANSFER OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA TO THIRD PARTIES AND/OR ABROAD

Where the purposes specified above under KVKK Article 5.2 and Article 6.3 exist, your Personal Data may be transferred without your explicit consent, or, for the purposes stated in this Privacy Notice, based on your explicit consent under KVKK Article 5.1 and Article 6.3, to third parties located in Turkey and abroad from whom we receive support in areas such as storage, archiving, information technology support (server, hosting, software, cloud computing), security, call center, sales and marketing; to group companies with which we cooperate and/or from which we receive services; to GSM operators, business partners, supplier companies, banks, financial institutions, consulting firms providing support in areas such as law and tax; to third parties providing support in sales, marketing and other areas related to the activities of www.stepy.com.tr (such as advertising companies for email delivery and campaign creation purposes, CRM support providers and the like); and to relevant institutions and organizations.

5. YOUR RIGHTS LISTED IN ARTICLE 11 OF THE LAW AS A PERSONAL DATA SUBJECT

As a personal data subject, we inform you that you have the following rights under Article 11 of the Law:

  1. To learn whether your personal data is being processed,
  2. To request information if your personal data has been processed,
  3. To learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether it is used in accordance with that purpose,
  4. To know the third parties to whom your personal data is transferred, domestically or abroad,
  5. To request correction if your personal data is processed incompletely or incorrectly, and to request that this be notified to third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred,
  6. To request the deletion or destruction of personal data if the reasons requiring processing no longer exist, even though it was processed in accordance with the Law and other relevant legal provisions, and to request that this be notified to third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred,
  7. To object if an outcome unfavorable to you arises as a result of the exclusive analysis of processed data through automated systems,
  8. To request compensation for damages if you suffer harm due to unlawful processing of your personal data.
  9. You can submit your applications regarding the rights listed above to our company by filling out the Contact Form available on our website. Depending on the nature of your request, your applications will be concluded free of charge as soon as possible and within thirty days at the latest; however, if the transaction requires an additional cost, a fee may be requested from you according to the tariff to be determined by the Personal Data Protection Board.
